And our world. Sound good? Learn more about us and what we do at aware.com.au Your New Role This is a high-impact Line 1 Risk role supporting Aware Super's Growth & Acquisition function. You'll work closely with senior leaders, employer growth teams, product, digital, marketing and adviser distribution stakeholders, providing practical risk and compliance advice that enables innovation, member growth and commercial outcomes.

Sydney or Melbourne Location

12 Month Max Term Role Key responsibilities include:

Identify and assess strategic, operational, conduct, privacy, technology, product, distribution and regulatory risks early, ensuring growth initiatives are designed and delivered within risk appetite.

Provide clear, practical advice and constructive challenge to support better decision-making and enable safe, sustainable growth.

Provide risk and compliance advice on cutting-edge employer propositions, adviser network propositions, distribution models, partnerships, campaigns and acquisition channels.

Support the design and governance of new or changed employer, adviser, member acquisition and partnership propositions to ensure regulatory obligations and business risks are appropriately managed.

Lead and facilitate risk assessments for strategic initiatives, new propositions, product and distribution changes, campaigns, partnerships and digital acquisition journeys. How do you exceed our expectations?

Strong understanding of Line 1 risk and compliance practices, including delivered risk assessments, trigger-based risk assessments, controls, incidents, issues, remediation, GRC reporting and risk governance.

Practical experience partnering with commercial, product, distribution, marketing,



digital or agile delivery teams to enable business outcomes within risk appetite.

Strong understanding of regulatory obligations impacting superannuation and distribution activities, including SIS Act, Corporations Act, ASIC Regulatory Guides, Privacy Act, CPS 230, CPS 234, FAR, anti-hawking obligations and Design and Distribution Obligations.

Demonstrated capability to build, review and uplift controls in a complex and highly regulated environment.

Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including the ability to partner with senior leaders, value stream leads, product owners, squads and Line 2 specialists.
