As Manager – Cultural Capabilities, you'll lead a significant initiative designed to strengthen cultural capability, influence organisational practice and create meaningful change across education in our region and beyond.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to create lasting change for Community, learners and future generations.

Working alongside Community, Wadawurrung Traditional Owners, First Peoples staff and key stakeholders, you'll help shape how cultural capability is understood, experienced and embedded across The Gordon, while contributing to a model with the potential to influence the wider TAFE sector.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Lead the development and implementation of The Gordon's Cultural Capabilities on Wadawurrung Country project.
- Partner with Community Leaders, Traditional Owners and First Peoples stakeholders to guide culturally informed outcomes.
- Develop a strategic roadmap for the future of First Peoples education and engagement at The Gordon.
- Oversee the design and delivery of an innovative cultural capability microcredential for staff and students.




- Share learnings and resources across the Victorian TAFE network to influence broader sector change.

About You

You are a respected and culturally grounded leader who values relationships, collaboration and creating meaningful outcomes for Community.

You combine strategic thinking with a genuine commitment to cultural integrity, education and organisational change.

You will bring:

- Experience working with First Peoples communities, organisations and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, project management and strategic planning skills.
- Understanding of First Peoples ways of knowing, being and learning.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability.
- Experience developing programs, initiatives or strategies that deliver meaningful impact.
