The organisation is seeking an experienced Marketing and Communications Officer to join their team on a short-term contract. This is an opportunity to support key projects, deliver impactful communications, and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
Contract Duration: 3 Months Contract | Full-time hours
Location: Perth, WA
Indicative Rate: $57.80 per hour (includes the casual loading)
Requirements:
- Ability to successfully complete required employment checks.
- Current National Police Clearance issued within the last 12 months.
- Must be available for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver communication campaigns to support key services, projects, and priorities.
- Provide communications advice and collaborate with internal stakeholders on key messaging and promotional activities.
- Manage social media channels, creating engaging content including reels, short-form videos, and posts across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Update website content through CMS platforms and develop eNewsletter, EDM, and digital communications.
- Create written content for publications, communication channels, media releases, and internal materials.
- Assist with speech notes, monitor communication outcomes, and report on campaign performance.
- Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities while maintaining high-quality communication outputs.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Demonstrated experience in Marketing, Communications, or a similar role.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to create engaging and audience-focused content.
- Experience developing digital content across websites, social media, newsletters, and online platforms.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, CMS systems, and short-form video content creation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, organisational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently within a rapid-paced team environment.
