Due to continued growth and a strong focus on operational excellence, they are seeking an experienced Matter Management Data Analyst to support their Sydney operations.

You will play a critical role in analysing matter progression, driving operational efficiencies, improving client service outcomes, and delivering meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making across the business.

Responsibilities

- Optimising matter progression and operational performance.
- Developing dashboards, KPIs, and business intelligence reporting.
- Analysing WIP, matter ageing, productivity, and client service metrics.
- Identifying bottlenecks and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Delivering data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
- Supporting automation, reporting, and process improvement projects.




- Improving efficiency, profitability, and client outcomes across the firm.

Requirements:
- Experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Legal Operations Analyst, or Reporting Analyst.
- Experience working within a law firm, professional services, financial services, or consulting environment.
- Advanced Excel skills, with robust reporting and dashboard development experience.
- Proficiency in data extraction, cleansing, validation, and analysis of complex datasets.
- Experience analysing large datasets and performance metrics.
- Ability to influence business decisions through data-driven insights.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
