About the Job Esperance Home Care is seeking a motivated and organisedMeal Service Administrator/Cook to coordinateand manage our meal service program. This rewarding role is responsible for overseeing thepreparation and delivery of meals for our Meals onWheels service, operating five days per week, as wellas providing catering support for activities and groupsattending the Home Care Centre. Catering requirements mayinclude morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch services.
Key responsibilities include
- Coordinating and managing the administrative functionsof the Esperance Home Care Meal Service.
- Overseeing meal planning, ordering and budgeting tomaintain a financially sustainable service.
- Preparing and coordinating meals in accordance withfood safety and quality standards.
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure the timely supply anddelivery of goods.
- Ensuring compliance with the Esperance Home Care FoodSafety Program.
- Supporting and coordinating staff and volunteersinvolved in meal service operations.
- Contributing to the delivery of high-quality servicesthat meet the needs of clients and centreparticipants. This is a permanent part-time position,working a minimum of 19.5 hours per week.Flexibility to provide leave coverage when required isessential. About you To be successful in this role, you will bring a combinationof food service experience, organisational skills and a genuinecommitment to supporting the community.
You will have
- Qualifications relevant to the hospitality industry such asFood Safety Supervision Skill Set and/or demonstratedexperience in coordinating a food service.
- Experience in the supervision of staff .
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to client service deliveryand the ability to work cooperatively to meet clientrequirements.
Hourly
Rate $38.96 Permanent staff are entitled to:
