ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Client Relationship Manager to join the Centrepiece Sales team at Melbourne Park. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving business event sales by managing client relationships, converting new business opportunities and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The role will manage the end-to-end sales process – from responding to enquiries and conducting venue inspections through to negotiating contracts and securing events. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of one of Melbourne's leading business events destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, building strong relationships and driving repeat business.
- Respond to enquiries and RFPs, preparing tailored proposals and conducting venue inspections.
- Convert sales opportunities and negotiate contracts to achieve revenue targets and KPIs.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and expand into new markets.
- Maintain accurate sales records, contracts and pipeline reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience.

ABOUT YOU

You are a relationship-focused sales professional with experience in conferences, events, hospitality or venue sales.



You thrive on building connections, identifying opportunities and delivering exceptional service.

You have:

- Solid business development and account management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
- A track record of achieving sales targets and converting opportunities.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A collaborative, customer-first approach and a passion for delivering outstanding event experiences.
- Strong background in sales and revenue conversion.
- Experience using Momentus Technologies or similar venue management software.
- Experience in the business events industry or a related qualification.
