Carpenter / Civil Operator / Construction All-Rounder – Humpty Doo
Stedmans Construction & Engineering is seeking an experienced Carpenter / Civil Operator / Construction All-Rounder to join our Darwin team.
This is a hands-on role based from our Humpty Doo / rural Darwin office, working across a variety of Darwin, rural area and surrounding construction projects.
The role would suit someone living in the Darwin region who has solid construction experience and enjoys working across different types of jobs.
About the role
You will be involved in a broad range of works, including:
- Fencing and hard structure works
- Carpentry and building repairs
- Concreting and formwork
- Small civil works and site preparation
- General construction and maintenance works
- Operating plant and equipment where experienced and licensed
- Assisting with project works across Darwin, rural areas and surrounding locations
We are looking for someone with:
- Carpentry, civil, construction or building experience
- Experience working for a building or construction company, preferably in Darwin or the NT
- Confidence working across hard structures, fencing, concreting and general site works
- Civil operator experience highly regarded
- Ability to read plans and follow site instructions
- Good practical problem-solving skills
- A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
- White Card
- Relevant machinery tickets or trade qualifications highly regarded
