We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a leading power generation contractor supporting a major infrastructure project in Cooma, NSW.

Working on a 2:1 FIFO/DIDO roster, you'll play a key role maintaining and servicing critical power generation equipment while earning $75/hr Flat + Super. Successful applicants must be available to commence Monday 3rd August.

About the Role

Working within a highly skilled maintenance team, you'll be responsible for servicing and maintaining diesel-powered generation equipment that supports one of Australia's major infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on role suited to fitters with strong diagnostic ability and experience on heavy mechanical equipment.

Your Responsibilities

- Diagnose, service and repair diesel generators and auxiliary power systems
- Perform preventative maintenance, breakdowns and fault finding
- Complete inspections, service reports and maintenance records
- Assist with equipment installation and commissioning activities
- Work safely while maintaining high quality workmanship

What We're Looking For





- Mechanical Fitter or Fitter Trade Qualification
- Experience on diesel generators, heavy diesel or power generation equipment
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Basic computer skills for maintenance reporting

- Current Manual Driver's Licence
- Construction White Card
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical
