We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team at the Darwin LNG (DLNG) facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a Darwin-based tradesperson looking for a 6-month opportunity with immediate commencement, a great roster, and the potential for ongoing career opportunities.

About the Role

Play a key role in maintaining the safe and reliable operation of a major LNG facility.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment onsite

- Fault finding and troubleshooting across plant systems

- Working safely within an LNG processing environment

- Supporting shutdowns and preventative/corrective maintenance activities

- Ensuring compliance with site safety procedures and standards

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a safety-focused and reliable Mechanical Fitter with a strong maintenance background.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter

- Experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, mining, or heavy industry environments (highly desirable)

- A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship
- The ability to work effectively within a rostered maintenance team

- Current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets (issued within the last 2 years)

- Residency in Darwin (FIFO is not available for this role)
