What you will do:

The successful candidate will enjoy the challenge of negotiating, managing,



and assessing a caseload of diverse applications including major developments in the Kensington and Kingsford town centres, and a wide range of commercial, industrial, open space, housing, and subdivision applications.

Requirements:

- Tertiary qualification/s in town planning, building surveying, architecture or urban design.
- Extensive experience in the assessment of complex planning matters (preferably with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience).
- Excellent knowledge of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and other relevant environmental and planning legislation.
- Demonstrated high level communication, interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated high quality report writing skills.
- Solid focus on and commitment to quality customer experience.
- Current and valid Class C Australian Drivers licence.
