Established in 2014, Sedgman Prudentia delivers multi-discipline engineering services across all project phases from piloting to detailed design, project implementation, operational readiness and commissioning support. We work with Energy, Chemicals and Mineral Processing industries and provide solutions in Adelaide and Brisbane.

Position

Lead Process Engineer (Minerals Processing Brownfields) – location: Brisbane or Adelaide. Self-motivated, results-driven, passionate about leading studies, collaborating across disciplines, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide leadership to engineering projects by determining design requirements, scope, and constraints.
- Develop plans, specifications, and related documents.
- Coordinate scope of work and lead work programmes, advising on selection and procurement of equipment/components.
- Lead engineering scopes and guide application of standard engineering techniques and procedures.
- Apply concepts of sustainability to engineering.
- Support continuous improvement of engineering standards, systems, and processes.





Qualifications, Skills And Experience

- Minimum 10 years of experience.
- Recognised bachelor’s degree in engineering (relevant discipline).
- Experience with SYSCAD.
- Demonstrated experience across multiple engineering phases.
- Experience working on multi‑discipline projects.
- Experience leading studies and project teams.
- Professional engineering registration in relevant Australian jurisdiction.
- Ability to lead a small team.

Nice to Haves

- Background in consulting on small to medium projects.
- Experience in hydrometallurgical processes.
- Experience with copper, uranium, gold, aluminium or battery materials.
