Created to support the organisation's continued growth, this Operations Manager position offers the opportunity to become an integral member of the leadership team within a respected specialist orthopaedic organisation that has earned an outstanding reputation for clinical excellence, patient care and professionalism. Working closely with the General Manager, you will become a trusted operational leader, responsible for developing people, strengthening systems and driving continuous improvement across the organisation. Importantly, this is not a traditional Practice Manager position. It is an opportunity to influence culture, inspire high-performing teams, lead organisational change and help shape the future of a respected specialist orthopaedic organisation. Based primarily at the Murdoch location, you will also work collaboratively with the leadership team at the Claremont practice, ensuring operational consistency and supporting excellence across both sites.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will provide operational leadership across a busy specialist orthopaedic environment while supporting the organisation's continued growth.

- Leading, mentoring and developing an experienced team of medical administrators.
- Providing operational leadership across the Murdoch practice.
- Working collaboratively with leadership across both the Murdoch and Claremont locations.




- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, performance management and team development.
- Driving continuous improvement across systems, workflows and operational processes.
- Building robust relationships with doctors, Medical Personal Assistants and key stakeholders.
- Navigating complex interpersonal relationships with confidence, professionalism and emotional intelligence.
- Fostering a positive, collaborative and accountable workplace culture.
- Contributing to strategic initiatives and future organisational growth.

About You

You are an experienced healthcare leader who understands that exceptional organisations are built by exceptional people. You are approachable, emotionally intelligent and confident leading experienced teams within a fast-paced specialist healthcare environment. You enjoy developing others, creating positive workplace cultures and delivering operational excellence.

- Demonstrated leadership experience within specialist healthcare.
- Previous experience as a Practice Manager or senior healthcare leader.
- Outstanding people leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong organisational and operational management experience.
- A calm, mature and solutions-focused leadership style.
- Previous experience as a Medical Personal Assistant or Medical Secretary will be highly regarded, however proven leadership capability is essential.
