This appointment comes at an exciting time as the business continues to grow its Defence infrastructure and construction project portfolio across Northern Territory Defence bases. Based in Darwin, the Project Engineer will support the delivery of projects from planning and mobilisation through to completion, working closely with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will bring a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with approximately 3–5 years' experience in a Project Engineer or similar role. Experience across Defence, construction,
infrastructure or building projects will be highly regarded, along with a strong understanding of project delivery, cost control, contract administration and compliance requirements.
You will be organised, practical and commercially aware, with the ability to coordinate documentation, monitor project progress, manage RFIs and technical records, and support safe, efficient and high-quality project outcomes. Solid communication and stakeholder management skills will be important, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
