AWX are seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Operator/ Delivery Driver to join our Client in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment specialising in Garage Doors
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe handling, movement, loading, and unloading of fragile products and materials. This role requires a high level of care, attention to detail, and confidence operating forklifts around delicate and oversized items.
There will also be times where you may be required to do deliveries of products in the clients vehicle.
Rate: $36.81
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently within warehouse and production areas
- Load, unload, transport, and store Garage Doors
- Handle fragile materials with care to minimise damage and breakages
- Assist with picking, packing, and dispatch activities
- Perform routine forklift safety checks and basic maintenance
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and production staff to meet daily targets
Skills & Experience
- Current Forklift Licence (LF required)
- Previous experience handling large products
- Strong understanding of protected load handling and storage practices
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Positive attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Must have a current Class C Driver's license
