Job Description

As a Commis Pastry Chef, you will support the Pastry Kitchen in delivering consistently high-quality products across breakfast service and beyond. This role requires early morning availability, flexibility across shift work, and a strong commitment to teamwork, quality, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation and presentation of pastry items for buffet and à la carte service
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
- Follow recipes and instructions with precision and attention to detail
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team workplace




- Ensure timely production to meet service requirements, particularly for early breakfast shifts

About You

- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a pastry kitchen
- Availability and willingness to work early morning shifts commencing from 5:00 AM, as well as flexibility to cover a variety of shifts as required
- Genuine passion for pastry and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently within a team workplace
- Positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn and grow
- Certificate III or IV in Patisserie (or equivalent trade qualification)
- Valid working rights in Australia
