Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated MIG Welder to join our production team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with solid MIG welding experience who takes pride in producing quality work.
Trade qualifications are not essential, we value attitude, reliability and proven welding ability.
About the Role
- Perform repetitive MIG welding on production components
- Follow established welding procedures and work instructions
- Complete work to a consistent quality standard
- Meet daily production targets
- Conduct basic visual quality checks
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Responsibilities
- MIG weld mild steel components and assemblies
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Fabricate and assemble components to specification
- Perform quality checks on completed work
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Work as part of a team to meet production schedules
About You
- Previous MIG welding experience is essential
- Trade qualification is preferred but not required
- Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings
- Basic knowledge of cutting angles and preparing material for welding
- Able to follow work instructions and procedures
- Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
