Role: Mobile Automation Test Engineer

Location: Sydney

:

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks using

Appium, Selenium, and Java

.

- Create and execute automated test scripts for

Android and iOS mobile applications

.

- Automate regression, functional, integration, smoke, and end-to-end test scenarios.

- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to create comprehensive test cases.

- Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and QA teams.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

- Perform API testing and validation using tools such as Postman and Rest Assured.

- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.

- Generate automation execution reports and provide testing metrics to stakeholders.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.





- Continuously improving testing processes, frameworks, and automation coverage.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

- Strong experience in

Java programming

.

- Hands-on experience with

Appium for mobile automation testing.

- Strong experience with

Selenium WebDriver for web application automation.

- Experience in test automation framework development (Hybrid, Data-Driven, POM, BDD).

- Knowledge of

TestNG or

JUnit

.

- Experience with

Maven or

Gradle build tools.

- Understanding of

Android Studio

, Xcode, and mobile device testing.

- Experience with Git/GitHub/Bitbucket version control systems.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Bamboo.

- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
