About the Role
This is a casual position offering full-time hours, Monday to Friday, with attractive hourly rates starting from $36+ per hour plus superannuation. The are a couple of roles:
Medium Rigid Driver
- Collection of waste paper and cardboard from commercial clients throughout the Dubbo region
- Safe operation of company vehicles
- Daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance reporting
- Providing professional customer service to clients
- Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental procedures
Recycling Shed Operator
- Sorting and processing recyclable materials
- Operating forklifts and telehandlers
- Loading and unloading materials
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Assisting with general recycling yard operations
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A current Medium Rigid (MR) Driver Licence and/or
- A current Forklift Licence
- Experience operating a telehandler (or willingness to demonstrate competency)
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- A reliable work ethic and good attendance record
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valuable communication and customer service skills
- Waste management, transport or recycling industry experience will be highly regarded
