We're two friendly, easygoing families living within 1 km of each other in Waterloo/Redfern. Our babies are the same age, already enjoy spending time together and we'd love to find someone who'll become an important part of their lives for years to come. We value our nanny as a professional and aim to build a genuine partnership based on open communication, mutual respect and trust. A few practical details:

- Both homes are smoke-free.
- Great access to buses, train and the Metro.
- On-site parking is available at one home, with on-street parking at the other.
- Double pram provided.
- No pets.

Your Duties

What you'll be doing

- Creating a warm, responsive and engaging environment where the children feel safe, secure and loved.
- Planning enjoyable days filled with play, books, music, sensory experiences, outdoor adventures and local excursions.
- Supporting the children's routines in collaboration with both families.
- Maintaining a screen-free environment.
- Preparing and serving simple lunches and snacks.
- Supporting naps with responsive settling and soothing.
- Nappy changes and day-to-day personal care.
- Keeping the children's spaces and meal areas tidy at the end of the day (this is not a heavy housekeeping role - we both already have cleaners).

Our Perfect Caregiver

We're looking for someone who is:

- Genuinely warm, calm,



responsive and emotionally attuned with babies and toddlers.
- Passionate about early childhood and looking for a long-term nanny role.
- Experienced caring for babies and toddlers (4+ years' nanny and/or early childhood experience preferred) with excellent references.
- Reliable, trustworthy and confident working collaboratively with parents.
- Enjoys getting out and about - walks, parks, libraries, playgrounds and other local adventures are very much encouraged.
- A non-smoker.
- Holds a current WWCC, Police Check, First Aid and CPR certification.
- An Australian citizen, permanent resident or holds a visa valid until at least mid-2027.

Bonus points for:
- Early Childhood qualifications.
- A solid understanding of infant and toddler social and emotional development.
- Familiarity with Neuroprotective Developmental Care (Possums) or similar responsive caregiving approaches.
- Additional skills such as another language, meal preparation, music, swimming or other relevant experience.
- Availability for the occasional evening or weekend (date nights, weddings etc.).
- Experience in a nanny share arrangement
