We're looking for an experienced National Estimating & Purchasing Manager to lead our Estimating, Ordering and Administration teams across Australia and the Philippines.

This isn't a role for someone who simply reviews numbers or manages commercial contracts.

We're looking for someone who understands estimating from the ground up, someone who has personally built estimates from construction plans, understands how trade packages are put together, and can lead a team that delivers high-quality supply and install quotations every day.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager – Construction, you'll lead a national team of approximately 35 people across Australia and the Philippines.

You'll oversee the entire estimating function, ensuring our teams produce accurate, commercially sound quotations across multiple product lines while continually improving quality,



turnaround times and customer service.

You'll also drive improvements across purchasing, ordering, systems and processes, ensuring the function is scalable as our business continues to grow.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead our national Estimating, Ordering and Administration teams.

- Drive the delivery of accurate, timely and competitive supply and install quotations across multiple residential building products.

- Ensure estimating teams accurately interpret plans, perform quantity take-offs and build quotations from the ground up—not simply compile supplier pricing.

- Develop consistent estimating methodologies, quality standards and best practice processes across the business.

- Coach and mentor estimating leaders and team members to continually improve technical capability and commercial outcomes.

- Work closely with Operations, Sales and Purchasing to ensure estimates are practical, achievable and profitable.

- Improve systems, automation and workflows to increase efficiency and consistency.

- Oversee purchasing performance, supplier relationships and ordering processes.

- Monitor estimating accuracy, KPIs and reporting to drive continuous improvement.

About You

This role will suit someone who has progressed through an estimating career and enjoys leading teams while remaining connected to the technical side of estimating.

You'll ideally bring:





- Significant experience preparing and reviewing trade-based supply and install estimates within the residential construction industry.

- A solid understanding of quantity take-offs, construction drawings, labour allowances, material requirements and installation methodologies.

- Experience building estimates yourself—not simply managing teams that collect pricing.

- Experience estimating across multiple residential building products or subcontract trades.

- A background within roofing, steel framing, garage doors, cladding, rainwater products, linings or similar residential construction products would be highly regarded.

- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing estimating teams.

- Strong commercial judgement with an eye for detail and accuracy.

- Experience improving estimating systems, workflows and processes.

- Experience leading offshore teams or shared service functions is advantageous.
