Company Description Surfing NSW, established in 1963, is the longest-running and largest state association for surfing in Australia. With over 130 affiliated boardrider clubs and 34 licensed surf schools stretching from Kingscliff to Tathra, Surfing NSW delivers grassroots events, world-class international competitions, high performance pathways and talent development, and government-funded programs such as Surfers Rescue 24/7, in partnership with 10 Regional Associations.

Role Description Surfing NSW is seeking two Non-Executive Directors to join the Board: one with Commercial/Sponsorship expertise to help build the organisation's commercial profile and increase sponsorship revenue across key programs, and one with Finance/CFO experience, current or extensive financial management experience, with philanthropic investment experience highly regarded. This is a voluntary position (expenses only), on a 2-year term,



requiring attendance at 6 Board meetings per year (a mix of in-person and virtual) as well as participation in ongoing workstreams, projects and committees.

Qualifications Commercial/Sponsorship expertise, ability to build the commercial profile of Surfing NSW and grow sponsorship revenue across key programs, OR current/extensive financial management experience (Finance/CFO), with philanthropic investment experience highly regarded A genuine passion for surfing is essential

Capacity to attend 6 Board meetings per year (a mix of in-person and virtual) and contribute to ongoing workstreams, projects and committees
