The Organisation The NSW Point to Point Transport Commission plays a critical role in ensuring the public safety, consumer protection and industry accountability across the state's taxi, rideshare and hire vehicle sectors. The Commissioner helps create a transport system that communities can trust by promoting safe, reliable and accessible services while supporting a fair and sustainable operating environment for industry participants.

The role

Reporting directly to the Minister for Transport, the Commissioner serves as the state's independent statutory regulator and principal adviser on point-to-point transport regulation, industry performance and emerging sector risks.

While the Commission's foundations are legislative and regulatory, the future focus is firmly on leadership, culture and capability, building a contemporary regulator capable of responding to changing technology, evolving customer expectations and emerging industry risks.

About you

You'll be recognised as a highly credible regulatory / public sector executive experienced in leading complex organisations that operate in environments shaped by public accountability,



regulatory scrutiny and significant stakeholder interest.

An accomplished executive leader, you are adept at navigating ministerial, government, industry and community stakeholder environments and bring the judgement, credibility and strategic expertise required to shape public policy outcomes and lead through complexity.

Combining strategic leadership with sound regulatory judgement, you have a demonstrated ability to influence across government, build productive partnerships and provide authoritative advice at the highest levels, ensuring the commission is respected by industry, trusted by government and valued by the community.
