About PeopleCore
PeopleCore is a boutique HR, Recruitment and Training consultancy that partners with businesses across a range of industries.
Our clients don't see us as an external provider—they see us as part of their team. We've built long-term relationships by delivering practical advice, exceptional service and always following through on what we promise.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for someone who enjoys being organised, takes pride in their work and wants to become an important part of both our team and our clients' businesses.
About the Role
Working closely with the Director, you'll provide the administration and coordination that keeps both our clients and PeopleCore running smoothly.
The Director focuses on strategy, consulting and client relationships.
Your role is to help deliver and execute that work by keeping projects organised, preparing documentation, coordinating activities and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
No two weeks are the same. Some days you'll be supporting recruitment, other days you'll be preparing HR documentation, coordinating training or assisting with internal business projects. If you enjoy variety and like getting things done, you'll love this role.
Unlike an internal administration role, you'll work across multiple businesses, giving you exposure to a wide variety of industries, people and HR challenges.
You'll support our clients with...
HR & Recruitment
- Preparing employment contracts and HR documentation
- Writing and updating Position Descriptions
- Preparing job advertisements
- Screening candidates and completing reference checks
- Supporting onboarding and induction
- General HR administration
Training
- Coordinating client training sessions
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations and training resources
- Assisting with training administration and scheduling
Business Support
- Supporting the Director with administration and client projects
- Preparing reports, presentations and business documents
- Helping improve systems and processes
- Providing general administration across the business
About You
You'll probably thrive in this role if you:
- Love being organised and keeping things running smoothly
- Have excellent administration skills and attention to detail
- Enjoy helping people and providing exceptional customer service
- Are proactive and enjoy solving problems
- Can manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Are confident using Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Take pride in producing work of a consistently high standard
Previous experience in administration, HR or recruitment will be highly regarded.
Experience using HR software such as Employment Hero or similar is an advantage, but not essential. We're happy to train someone with the right attitude, strong administration skills and a willingness to learn.
A Few Things to Know
This is a work-from-home role, however we believe relationships matter.
From time to time we'll catch up with you in Melbourne's western suburbs for planning, collaboration or training. Occasionally, you may also attend a client meeting or visit a client site. These are not regular requirements but are an important part of maintaining robust relationships with our clients.
You'll also need
- Your own laptop
- A reliable internet connection and suitable home workspace
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Full Australian working rights
