Menzies is looking for a Project Manager to oversee two rheumatic heart disease projects in the global and tropical health division.

The Role:
The successful candidate for this role will primarily manage the NEARER ECHO study and ACT4-RHD trial. Responsibilities include contract management, budgeting and forecasting, and planning across study activities aligned with strategic goals. Work on the NEARER ECHO study is a shared role working closely with another Project Manager.
About You:
As a motivated, qualified health professional, you will bring substantial experience in the coordination of health programs, preferably with clinical trial experience, working extensively with First Nations communities and organisations, and a track record of engagement and leadership.
You also have:
- A relevant postgraduate qualification (Eg. Public Health or health systems strengthening) or extensive relevant experience
- Proven ability to prepare high-quality applications and reports, including those required for grant funding and research governance.
- Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary research teams including supervision, mentoring, training and performance management, with a commitment to fostering a collaborative and culturally protected work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, including planning, milestone tracking, risk management and oversight of budgets, financial reporting and resource allocation.

What We Can Offer You:
- A highly productive, collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Base salary of $117,434 - $127,895 per annum, pro-rata (total remuneration package including salary packaging and superannuation of per $144,191 - $156,080 per annum, pro-rata).
- Generous leave provisions including 6 weeks annual leave and paid parental leave.
- Salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum and $2,650 meal and entertainment card tax free.
- Option to increase superannuation to 14%.
