We are working with a tier-one international law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Restructuring & Bankruptcy practice within their Sydney office.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a globally recognised Restructuring practice, advising a range of international and domestic clients in financially distressed situations across the full lifecycle of restructuring, insolvency and special situations transactions. The candidate’s work will span across financial restructuring and workouts, distressed M&A; and asset sales, formal insolvency processes, and cross-border restructurings.

The candidate will play a key role in acting for across the capital structure wherever they encounter distress, supporting a highly reputable client base including corporates,



boards of directors and management, sponsors, banks, and lenders. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.

- 1-5 PQE;
- Robust background in restructuring and insolvency within a medium to large commercial firm;
