Job Description

About the Employer: We are supporting a reliable cleaning services business (ABN 19 104 515 123) based in Darwin and surrounding areas, operating across commercial, residential, hospitality, aged care, and Airbnb cleaning.

The business is known for quality service, attention to detail, safety, and customer satisfaction. With a growing team and service locations across multiple sites, they are seeking an Office Manager to oversee daily office operations, administration, customer enquiries, staff scheduling, records management, office systems, and general business support.

Key Responsibilities

- Organise and control daily office operations, administrative systems, and workflows to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Allocate and manage office resources, including staff, workspace, equipment, and supplies.
- Supervise, support, and monitor the performance of administrative and clerical staff.
- Coordinate office records, correspondence, filing systems, and basic accounts administration.




- Liaise with managers, external service providers, and professionals to coordinate office activities and resolve operational issues.
- Ensure office equipment, systems, and supplies are maintained and functional.
- Oversee compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements and relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Support personnel activities including recruitment coordination, onboarding, training, leave records, and performance management processes

Selection Criteria

- Office administration expertise: Demonstrated experience managing office operations, systems, and administrative staff.
- People management: Proven ability to supervise, allocate tasks, and monitor staff performance.
- Organisational skills: Solid time management, prioritisation, and attention to detail across multiple tasks.
- Communication: Clear, professional communication with internal teams, management, and external stakeholders.
- Compliance & WHS awareness: Understanding of workplace policies, WHS obligations, and administrative compliance requirements.
- Problem-solving: Ability to identify operational issues and implement practical solutions.
- Adaptability: Capacity to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced office environment.

Required Experience and Qualifications

- At least 2–3 years’ relevant experience in an office administration or office management role.
- Qualifications at AQF Diploma level or higher in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Full working rights in Australia.
