About the role

Join the Melbourne Leadership Team as an Operations Manager, leading your region across South/East Melbourne with up to 10-12 direct reporting Store Managers.

As an Operations Manager , you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring your people, driving brand engagement in local communities, and maximizing growth and profit potential of the stores in your area. To keep our people, customers and community safe, you will ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, industrial awards/agreements and relevant regulatory standards.

As people are at the heart of all that we do, your role will be based in-store with your teams to provide you with real time opportunities to lead, develop and mentor your team ensuring they perform, grow and thrive. You will lead by example,



with the ability to communicate with people of all seniority levels and backgrounds whilst being an inspirational, energetic and passionate leader, showing an authentic curiosity.

What you'll be doing

- Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple service centres, including scheduling, inventory management, and staffing
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality automotive services and repairs, meeting strict quality and safety standards
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Provide strong leadership and coaching to the team of technicians and customer service representatives
- Collaborate with the wider business to identify and implement process improvements
- Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to drive continuous improvements
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and internal policies

What we're looking for

- Significant experience in operations managing multiple sites
- Excellent people management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Proven track record of driving operational improvements and enhancing customer satisfaction
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and stakeholders
- Hold a current driver’s licence as this role will require frequent store visits
