Senior Storage Engineer (Contract) | Sydney (Ultimo) | 12-Month Contract

Exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team supporting and modernising one of Australia's largest enterprise storage environments.

Based in Ultimo, Sydney, this 12-month contract offers a hybrid arrangement, with attendance in the office up to 2 days per week.

- NetApp StorageGRID and MetroCluster
- VMware vSphere or Hyper-V
- IBM Storage Protect & Tape Libraries
- AWS S3
- Linux and/or Windows Server administration

Key Skills & Experience

- Strong hands‑on experience with NetApp FAS/AFF (ONTAP 9)
- Expertise in SnapMirror, SnapVault, and SnapCenter
- Experience with SAN, NAS, storage replication, backup, and data protection technologies
- Scripting skills in Ansible, PowerShell, or Unix Shell

Highly Desirable

- Cisco/Brocade Fibre Channel switches
- VMware vSphere or Hyper-V
- IBM Storage Protect & Tape Libraries

The Role

You will provide technical leadership, deliver storage infrastructure projects, maintain enterprise storage platforms, and provide Level 2/3 support while driving continuous improvement across storage and backup services.
