About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our client's team in Australia. The successful candidate will beresponsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy dieselvehicles and equipment while ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnosefaults in diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, and hydraulicsystems.

- Carryout servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy diesel vehicles andequipment.

- Repairor replace engines, gearboxes, differentials, suspension, steering, andbrake components.

- Performelectrical and electronic diagnostics using up-to-date diagnostic equipment.

- Conductpreventative maintenance and routine servicing.

- Completejob cards and maintenance records accurately.

- Ensureall work is completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications andworkplace safety standards.

- Workefficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.

- Validdriver's licence preferred.

- Abilityto meet Australian skills assessment and visa requirements.

- Tradequalification in Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanics.

- Abilityto read and interpret technical manuals and repair documentation.

- Goodtroubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
