Canberra | 12 Months Contract | Minimum Baseline Clearance | $65-73 Per Hour Plus Super

We're partnering with a Federal Government client seeking an experienced Grants Specialist to play a key role in the development and management of grants and procurement activities supporting strategic programs and initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex challenges, engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, and ensuring programs are delivered in line with Commonwealth requirements. You'll join a team-oriented team where your expertise will directly contribute to the successful delivery of key government outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As the Grants Specialist, you will:

- Develop Grant Opportunity Guidelines (GOGs), risk assessments and associated documentation in line with the Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles (CGRPs)
- Support the full grants lifecycle, including:
- Assessment and evaluation
- Establishment and contracting
- Payment processing
- Performance monitoring and reporting

- Prepare procurement documentation including:





- Requests for Quote (RFQs)
- Requests for Tender (RFTs)
- Evaluation reports
- Financial approvals
- Contract documentation

- Establish and manage contracts while ensuring compliance with DFAT procurement and financial requirements.
- Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support successful program delivery.

Essential Requirements

- NV1 clearance strongly preferred, minimum Baseline clearance
- Demonstrated experience developing Grant Opportunity Guidelines (GOGs) within a government, public sector, or international development setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles (CGRPs).
- Strong understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs).
- Excellent written communication, stakeholder engagement, and document development skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in a complex government environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in public administration, international development, procurement, project management, or a related discipline.
