Role
Recruiting a qualified Registered Nurse, currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and at least one full year of nursing experience. The Registered Nurse performs reception screening and comprehensive health assessments on persons received into custody whilst assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management.
Location
Cessnock Correctional Centre is a minimum and medium‑security facility for male offenders located on the Cessnock Correctional Complex. The Complex is located in the Hunter Valley,
151 km north‑west of Sydney and includes Hunter and Shortland correctional centres.
Qualifications
- Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- At least one full year of experience working as a Registered Nurse.
Salary & Benefits
Your hourly rate of $43.46 - $57.88 per hour (+ superannuation) is just the beginning. Additional allowances that may apply.
