HD Enterprises is seeking an experienced Business Administration Officer to join our Head Office team in Humpty Doo.
This is a varied role where you’ll become an integral part of an experienced administration team supporting the day-to-day operations of our growing group of businesses. While Accounts Payable will be your primary responsibility, you’ll also receive training across a broad range of business administration functions, giving you the opportunity to expand your skills and become a key member of our team.

About the Role
Based in our Head Office, you’ll work alongside an experienced administration team supporting multiple areas of our business.
Your primary responsibility will be managing our Accounts Payable function, ensuring supplier accounts are maintained accurately and payments are processed efficiently.
Beyond this, you’ll become involved in a broad range of administration activities, working closely with our finance,
operations and management teams. Through ongoing training and mentoring, you’ll develop a strong understanding of our business and become a valued contributor across many aspects of our administration function.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Process supplier invoices using our ERP system (MYOB Acumatica)
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve account discrepancies
- Prepare and manage supplier payment runs
- Liaise with suppliers regarding invoices and payment enquiries
- Assist with maintaining efficient cash flow processes
Business Administration
- Provide administration support across multiple areas of the business
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Assist with purchasing and inventory administration
- Update inventory pricing and assist with pricing and margin analysis
- Professionally manage customer enquiries via phone and email
- Support continuous improvement of business systems and administrative processes
- Provide general administrative support to the finance and management teams
About You
You’ll be someone who enjoys being organised, takes ownership of your work and understands the importance of accuracy and attention to detail.
You’re comfortable learning new software, enjoy solving problems and have a positive, team-focused attitude. You communicate professionally, build strong working relationships and take pride in delivering work to a high standard.
You’ll bring:
- Previous experience in a business administration role
- Accounts Payable experience (preferred)
- Experience using ERP or accounting software such as MYOB Acumatica, MYOB, Xero or similar
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
- Confidence using Excel, including formulas and spreadsheets
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines
- A willingness to learn and contribute across multiple areas of the business
Highly Regarded
- Finance administration experience
- Purchasing or inventory administration experience
- Experience working within trade, industrial, wholesale, construction or retail businesses
