Project Manager - Darwin NT

Your Mission

Step into a key role delivering civil, infrastructure and capital works projects that make a real difference for West Arnhem communities. Based in Darwin, you will lead projects from concept to completion, bringing sharp planning, budgeting and contract management skills to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

You will partner with contractors, consultants, government agencies, community members and Elected Members to turn Council’s Strategic Plan into practical outcomes on the ground,



while continually improving how projects are scoped, delivered and reported.

Your Expertise

- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, Asset Management, or a related discipline.

- Extensive experience delivering and managing infrastructure assets, projects and contracts, preferably in a local government or public sector environment.

- Strong knowledge of procurement and tendering, contract administration, budgeting, cost control, record management, and financial reporting.

- Proven ability to manage complex workloads, work independently, and deliver outcomes within critical timeframes.

- Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

- Strong understanding and appreciation of Indigenous culture, with the ability to work effectively in remote, cross-cultural environments.
