Learning Clubs provide a secure, fun, supportive learning environment where students participate in educational activities or receive help with their schoolwork from dedicated tutors, outside of school hours.
Do you have the following qualities?
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including a strong ability to communicate well with young people
- A friendly and positive attitude
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Are you able to perform these tasks (with support and training)?
- Assist students in completing homework tasks
- Assist students in developing skills and knowledge in particular subject areas through structured activities
Can you commit to this timeframe?
Generally, we seek a volunteer commitment of 1-2 hours (once per week) for a minimum of two school terms (around 18 weeks). Clubs typically run just after school finishes.
