Leading independent girls’ school, Camberwell Girls Grammar, presents an opportunity for a Violin and Viola tutor to join our team to cover leave during Term 4 in 2026. This is a casual position, 2 days per week, plus possible ensemble work. You will work on Wednesday and have flexibility to choose Monday, Tuesday or Friday as the second day of work.
The successful applicant must be appropriately qualified and able to teach violin and viola to a range of musicians, from beginner to advanced level. CGGS teachers have an excellent understanding of effective pedagogical practices and contemporary learning design with strong interpersonal and communication skills. A passion for girls' education is essential for your success.
About you
- Demonstrated experience teaching beginner to advanced level violin and viola students
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Must hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid Employee Working with Children Clearance or registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
