We are currently seeking passionate Assistant Co-Ordinator to join our growing team in casual role moving to a Permanent part-time role.

About the Role

As an OSHC Assistant Co- Ordinator The Assistant Coordinator is responsible for supporting the management of the service and are responsible for the management of key administration tasks.

The Assistant

Coordinator will work closely with the Centre Manager to lead and support day-to-day operations.

Coordinator will provide direction and supervision to Educators through planning and coordinating aspects of the service administration.

Coordinator actively promotes a child-safe environment and supports the implementation of child protection and safeguarding practices across daily operations

· Both directly deliver activities/experiences for children’s learning, and support educators to plan and facilitate play-based activities/events - these should include adapting activities to reflect flexibility and spontaneity in play.

· Role-model, supervise, and support responses to children’s behaviour that prioritise safety, dignity, inclusion, and trauma-informed practice, and take appropriate action where behaviours raise child safety or wellbeing concerns

· Take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and oversight of the service’s operations as required (act as Responsible Person).

· Lead contribution to the critical evaluation of the program through reflection, reviewing documentation and observations. Ensure documentation or other evaluation strategies are utilised to effectively evaluate and assess the program.

Liaise with children and stakeholders to collect views to develop plans and strategies for improvement of the service’s quality and capacity.





· Promote the service’s commitment to uploading the value and connection to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required before starting:

- Valid Blue Card (Paid Employee)

- First Aid 0012

- CPR
- Diploma of ECEC or equivalent

- Asthma Management

- Anaphylaxis Management

- Gecko Training Completed
- CHCPRT025 (Identify children and young people at risk) completed.

Qualifications:

- Diploma in OSHC, Batchelor of ECEC Early Childhood, Education, Youth Work, Community Services
- OR currently working towards a recognised qualification
