OSHC DIRECTOR - CSE LEVEL 8

Flagstaff Hill Primary School OSHC is seeking a dedicated and passionate Director to lead our vibrant Out of School Hours Care and Vacation Care Service. This role is responsible for the overall management and administration of OSHC, ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), and delivering a high-quality, inclusive and engaging program for primary school-aged children.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of daily OSHC operations, including program development, administration, staffing, compliance, and quality assurance.
- Provide pedagogical leadership to develop and implement diverse, engaging, and inclusive recreation and leisure programs.
- Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being for children, families, and staff.
- Lead, support, and supervise a passionate team, including staff recruitment, induction, performance management, and professional development.
- Build positive partnerships with children, families, school staff, and the broader Flagstaff Hill community.
- Manage budgets, rosters,



records, and administrative requirements in line with governing council and regulatory expectations.
- Uphold policies, procedures, legal and statutory requirements, including child protection and WHS responsibilities.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, staff engagement, and reflective practice.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

- Approved Diploma or Degree qualification as approved by ACECQA
- RRHAN-EC training, current Working with Children Check, approved First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications.
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience in OSHC, Vacation Care, or similar settings.
- Strong administrative, financial, and IT skills, including program and record management.
- Proven ability to engage positively with children, families, staff, and the community.

Desirable knowledge and experience:

- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives in OSHC or children’s services settings.
- Previous experience building strong partnerships with families, schools, and community organisations.
- Experience supporting and mentoring staff or students in a team environment.
- Understanding of cultural safety and inclusion, particularly in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.
- Contribution to grant applications, funding submissions, or community projects.
