CURATING ORIGINALITY TAKES TALENT

W Sydney is now casting for a Overnight Chef de Partie to sprinkle some magic in the kitchen and to service all of our guests through the night! The ideal candidate possesses genuine excitement and passion for good food and the desire to grow in the industry. You will work with quality products and assist in the culinary department of the hotel. Above all, you will be keen to learn and be committed to achieving the very best. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
- Set-up and break down work station
- Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
- Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food
- Follow 5 star luxury standards and procedures

REQUIREMENTS

- Available to work overnight shifts (generally 8.30pm/9pm start and 4.30am/5am finish), weekends, and public holidays as needed for business demands




- Must be passionate about food and keen to showcase their ability in fast-paced environment
- Well-developed ability to work independently and as part of a strong, diverse and dynamic team
- Able to communicate and showcase reliability
