Happy Dots Occupational Therapy for Children
Cardiff
Build a career where your expertise is valued, your ideas are encouraged, and your impact changes children's lives every day.
Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist who thrives in a sensory-rich, play-based paediatric environment? Do you enjoy thinking outside the box, building meaningful relationships with children and families, and working alongside a team that is passionate about helping one another succeed? At Happy Dots Therapy Services for Children, we're looking for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary team. Whether you're seeking full-time, part-time, or a flexible work arrangement, we'd love to hear from clinicians who are passionate about paediatrics and excited to continue growing their career.
For more than a decade, Happy Dots has been a trusted provider of Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology services across the Newcastle region. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to grow, connect and thrive through personalised, evidence-based therapy delivered in fun, engaging and play-based environments.
Our culture is built on collaboration, communication and a genuine commitment to helping one another grow. We celebrate individual strengths, encourage curiosity, and believe the best outcomes happen when clinicians feel supported, valued and inspired. Every member of our team brings something unique, and together we create an environment where children, families and therapists flourish.
About the Role
As an Experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you'll deliver high-quality, evidence-informed and family-centred therapy services to children aged 0–18 years with developmental delays and disabilities. You'll support a diverse range of children and families by completing comprehensive assessments, developing meaningful therapy plans, and delivering engaging interventions across clinic, community, educational and telehealth settings. Every intervention is tailored to help children build confidence, independence and the skills they need to participate successfully in everyday life.
Working alongside our experienced multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists, you'll collaborate closely with families, educators and other professionals to achieve meaningful and lasting outcomes.
This role offers the opportunity to work with clinical autonomy while being supported by a collaborative and experienced team. You'll have opportunities to mentor junior clinicians, contribute to service development, lead quality improvement initiatives, and continue developing your own areas of clinical interest as your career evolves.
