About the role:

Reporting within the commercial function, you will provide proactive contract administration support across Defence projects, ensuring contractual obligations, commercial requirements and project deliverables are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.

Working closely with project delivery, finance, procurement and commercial stakeholders, you will help protect contractual entitlements, maintain robust contract records and support the successful delivery of profitable projects

Key Responsibilities:

Administer customer, subcontractor and supplier contracts throughout project delivery.

Maintain contractual registers, including variations, claims, notices, extensions of time, correspondence and deliverables.

Draft, issue and monitor contractual notices, RFIs, claims submissions and related correspondence.

Support the management of contract changes, variations, delay events and commercial risks.

Review contractual documentation and correspondence to identify risks, obligations and opportunities.

Develop and maintain accurate contract records to support governance, compliance and entitlement preservation.

Support dispute avoidance, risk mitigation and commercial decision-making.

Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial systems, templates and processes.

Skills/Experience:

Formal qualification in Construction Management, Law, Business, Quantity Surveying or related field

Minimum 5 years' experience in contract administration, commercial support or contract management environments.





Experience supporting complex projects within Defence, construction, engineering, infrastructure or related industries.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Solid stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.

High attention to detail and excellent written communication skills

Strong understanding of contract compliance and risk management.

Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc).
