Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Expeditor to join our team on a major power station project in Queensland. You will play a critical role in ensuring materials, equipment, and supplier deliverables are progressed in line with project schedules to support construction activities.

Working closely with procurement, engineering, logistics, vendors, and site teams, you will proactively manage supplier performance, monitor progress against purchase orders, and identify potential delays before they impact the project.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Expedite supplier and vendor deliverables to ensure materials and equipment are delivered on time and in accordance with project requirements.
- Monitor and track purchase orders, fabrication status, manufacturing progress, inspections, testing, and shipment schedules.
- Liaise closely with suppliers, subcontractors, engineering teams, procurement personnel, and project stakeholders.
- Identify and proactively manage risks to material delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely transportation and site delivery of critical materials.
- Prepare and maintain expediting reports, status updates, and delivery forecasts.
- Conduct supplier follow-up activities through phone, email, virtual meetings, and site visits where required.
- Work closely with project controls and planning teams to align procurement activities with construction schedules.
- Escalate critical issues and recommend mitigation strategies to minimise project delays.
- Assist with the coordination of inspections,



factory acceptance testing (FAT), and vendor documentation requirements.
- Ensure all procurement and expediting activities comply with project procedures, contractual requirements, and Monadelphous standards.

What you’ll bring:

- Previous experience in an Expeditor, Procurement Coordinator, Materials Coordinator, Supply Chain, or Procurement role within construction, mining, oil & gas, power generation, infrastructure, or heavy industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics processes.
- Experience managing vendor performance and critical delivery schedules on major projects.
- Ability to interpret project schedules and understand procurement-driven milestones.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/procurement systems.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment.
