This role is ideal for a payroll professional who thrives in complex environments and enjoys investigating issues, identifying root causes, and driving compliance outcomes.

You’ll play a key role in working through identified and potential payroll issues, ensuring they are thoroughly investigated and resolved.

About the role:

- Investigating each confirmed or potential payroll issue
- Identifying and clearly documenting root causes
- Assessing impacted employees, time periods and financial exposure
- Recommending appropriate remediation actions for each issue
- Supporting the delivery of remediation outcomes
- Recommending system, control and process improvements to prevent recurrence

About you:





- Proven experience in payroll remediation, compliance, or audit projects
- Chris21 experience is essential
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and award interpretation
- Ability to work through complex payroll issues with a high level of detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator, able to translate findings into transparent recommendations
- Experience working across payroll systems and navigating data
