About the role
As a Trainee Educator at Goodstart Griffin, you'll be supported by experienced Educators, Teachers, and Centre Leadership to develop the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in Early Childhood Education.
You’ll play an important role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing while working towards your Certificate III qualification.
In this role, you’ll:
- Help create safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Support educational programs and daily learning experiences
- Learn and apply the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Develop practical skills through hands‑on experience and study

Who can apply?
- Must be willing to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Must have permanent working rights in Australia
- Must have solid communication and organisational skills
- Must be enthusiastic, motivated, and passionate about working with children
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have flexible availability
- Must hold (or be willing to obtain) a QLD Working with Children Check
- Must hold a Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training via the Geccko platform
- Must provide proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) and Whooping Cough (Pertussis), or be willing to receive them
Please note: To be eligible for a traineeship, you must not have completed a Certificate or Diploma qualification (outside of secondary school) within the last seven years.
