ACESGroup is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our Finance team and support day-to-day finance operations. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is split across payroll (3.5 days) and accounts payable (1.5 days). You will work across payroll administration and accounts payable,supporting the finance team in maintaining accurate payroll and financial records and ensuring timely processing of transactions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced finance environment, has strong attention to detail, and can manage multiple responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to be involved in finance system upgrade projects, with system improvements creating capacity to take on more analytical work and provide valuable insights to the business. The position is primarily based at our Campbelltown or Redfern office.

This role is office-based during the initial 6-month probation period.

Key Responsibilities Payroll Administration (3.5 days per week) - Assist in the end-to-end processing of payroll for a high-volume workforce

- Assist with payroll reports and reconciliations
- Respond to payroll queries and maintain payroll records
- Maintain payroll systems and employee payroll data Accounts & Finance (1.5 days per week) - Process accounts payable, including supplier invoices and payments
- Support finance administration and ad-hoc finance tasks as required About You - Experience processing payroll in a high-volume workforce environment (1000+ employees) is highly regarded
- Exposure to payroll and accounts payable
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in an accounts or finance role
- Experience with MYOB or similar accounting systems highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Confident communicator who enjoys working with internal stakeholders
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a current National Police Check and meet all pre-employment screening requirements.
