An opportunity has become available for an experienced Payroll Manager to join the HR team, working within the Reward function of a well-established and growing financial services organisation. This is more than a payroll role. It's a genuine succession opportunity.

You'll initially manage end-to-end payroll across several smaller entities before progressively transitioning into a broader payroll portfolio of approximately 500 employees. Working alongside an experienced Senior Payroll Manager, you'll receive hands-on mentoring as part of a genuine succession opportunity into a broader Payroll Manager role.

What you'll be doing:

- Manage end-to-end payroll across multiple entities.
- Partner with an outsourced payroll provider (Employment Hero).
- Prepare payroll tax and FBT reporting.
- Manage payroll-related compliance and GRC incidents.
- Work closely with HR and Finance to ensure accurate payroll delivery.




- Contribute to payroll process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.

We're looking for someone with:

- 7-10+ years' end-to-end payroll experience.
- Strong Excel skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- The ability to work independently while building strong stakeholder relationships.

Desirable experience:

- Oracle HCM and/or Employment Hero.
- Payroll experience through a systems implementation, merger or acquisition.
