Description
ELMO is looking for a dedicated Payroll UAT Specialist to join our Services team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our award builds. You will bridge the gap between technical configuration and real-world payroll outcomes, ensuring our solutions perform exactly as intended for our customers.What you’ll be doing
As a key member of our team, you will:
- Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT):��Perform SME-led testing for Rotageek award builds across a variety of Australian up-to-date awards.
- Validate Outcomes: Confirm payroll accuracy across ordinary hours, penalty rates, overtime, allowances, classifications, and minimum engagement rules.
- Defect Management: Identify, investigate,
and clearly document calculation discrepancies and configuration gaps.
- Collaborate: Partner with our Solution Architect and internal subject matter experts to ensure testing continuity and smooth award delivery.
- Build Expertise: Help create reusable testing discipline and knowledge to support our future scaling.
Skills And Experiences
What you bring
- Proven Experience: A background in payroll processing, implementation, consulting, or support.
- Payroll Knowledge: A strong understanding of Australian payroll concepts and modern award interpretation.
- Technical Aptitude: Experience with UAT, system integration testing, or payroll parallel testing. Experience with Rotageek or Employment Hero Payroll is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to execute structured test scenarios and communicate findings clearly.
- Collaborative Spirit: Comfortable working independently while maintaining strong relationships with product and technical stakeholders.
