Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Team Lead to join their expanding CFO Advisory division.

This is more than just a payroll role. You'll lead a collaborative team delivering outsourced payroll services to a diverse client base while partnering with businesses to ensure accurate, compliant and efficient payroll operations. You'll also play a key role in mentoring your team, improving processes and helping shape the future of the payroll function.

The Opportunity

- Lead, mentor and support a team of payroll professionals
- Oversee the end to end delivery of payroll services across a diverse client portfolio
- Ensure payroll is processed accurately, efficiently and in line with Australian legislation




- Provide advice on payroll compliance, awards, Fair Work, STP, PAYG and superannuation
- Build strong, long term relationships with clients and act as their trusted payroll specialist
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows and processes
- Collaborate with the broader CFO Advisory team to deliver outstanding client outcomes

About You You'll bring:

- Previous experience leading or mentoring a payroll team
- Strong end to end payroll experience within Australia
- Public Practice experience
- Sound knowledge of payroll legislation, awards, STP, PAYG and superannuation
- Experience managing multiple payrolls across different industries
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- A proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement
- Experience using cloud based payroll systems such as Xero Payroll, Employment Hero, MYOB or similar
