Job Overview Title: Peer Family Support Worker Location: Mackay, Queensland Schedule: Part‑time (30.4 hours per week), ongoing Compensation: SCHADS Level 3 ($40.49–$43.42 per hour, plus superannuation and salary‑packaging benefits) Responsibilities - Connect participants and their families with community support services and provide psycho‑educational tools and guidance

- Facilitate peer support groups, educational sessions, proactive follow‑up, and advocacy
- Provide carer peer connection in crisis, share practical resources and information
- Navigate services for families on their recovery journey following an attempted suicide
- Use lived experience to inform program development and service delivery Qualifications - Lived experience of supporting a loved one with suicidal ideation, crisis, or attempt
- Relevant qualifications or commensurate experience working with people with mental health conditions
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
- Satisfactory Police Records Check, Blue Card (Working with Children), NDIS Worker Screening Check,
