Maintenance Fitter Full Time | Permanent Position | Moree, NSW Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Brighann Ginning is a modern cotton processing facility located near Moree, NSW. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Maintenance Fitter to join our team in a permanent full-time position. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a mechanical or trade background who enjoys working on a diverse range of industrial machinery and equipment. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes pride in their work, and is committed to maintaining equipment to the highest standard.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving a wide range of mechanical plant and equipment to ensure reliable and efficient operation across the site.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns.
- Perform servicing, repairs and component replacement on plant and equipment.
- Assist with machinery installations, upgrades and improvement projects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Work safely and comply with workplace health and safety procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to maximise equipment reliability and performance.




- Participate in an on-call roster during the ginning season when required.

About You

The successful applicant will have:

- A Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or similar trade qualification, or extensive mechanical experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals (desirable).
- A willingness to listen, learn and develop new skills.
- A positive attitude and robust work ethic.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- A current driver’s licence.

Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, processing plants or industrial maintenance is highly regarded but not essential.
