Full-Time Veterinary Nurse Wanted – Everton Park Vet Surgery

Everton Park Vet Surgery is seeking a full-time Veterinary Nurse to become an integral part of our team. We are a community-focused practice committed to providing exceptional patient care, outstanding client service, and a positive workplace culture.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated nurse who enjoys a wide-ranging caseload, working collaboratively with a veterinary team, and building strong relationships with pets and their owners.

About the role

As a Veterinary Nurse at Everton Park Vet Surgery, you will play an important role in supporting our veterinarians and delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing compassionate nursing care to patients, including hospitalised patient monitoring and recovery
- Assisting veterinarians with consultations, surgical procedures, dental procedures, and patient care
- Preparing patients for procedures, diagnostics, and treatments
- Administering medications, treatments, and preventative healthcare as directed by veterinarians
- Performing in-house pathology, sample collection, and laboratory tasks
- Monitoring anaesthesia and assisting with surgical nursing duties
- Maintaining accurate patient records and treatment notes
- Conducting nursing consultations and providing client education and support
- Communicating with clients regarding patient care, discharge instructions,



and follow-up requirements
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control
- Assisting with stock management and ensuring the clinic environment remains organised and efficient
- Supporting the wider veterinary team and contributing to a positive clinic culture

This role includes a 2 in 4 Saturday rotation, providing a balanced work-life schedule while supporting our clients and patients when they need us most.

About you

- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification)
- Previous experience working as a veterinary nurse in a clinical environment
- A genuine passion for animal welfare and delivering excellent patient care
- Strong communication skills and a professional, compassionate approach with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive workplace
